Character, Community, Leadership & Wellness
Beyond The Dance Floor
The Dance Centre Difference
As a leader in dance education for more than three decades, we continue to focus on development, character, leadership and integrity that goes beyond the studio and includes giving back to our community.
This year, we are excited to be sponsoring Village Project!
Located in Bay Village, Village Project's mission is to work together as a community to provide nourishing meals and extended support to families fighting cancer. This amazing nonprofit provides healthy meals for every person in the household – free of charge – for up to six months of active cancer treatment. They serve families in Rocky River, Bay Village, Westlake, Avon, and Avon Lake – their clients are OUR neighbors!
Village Project expects to deliver 6,500 meals to their clients and their families this year. The good news is that you can help! A gift of just $75 will secure one week of meals for a family dealing with cancer.
Your donation can do two powerful things:
1. You will help provide healthy, nutrient-dense meals, allowing someone fighting this devastating disease to build strength without concern for meal planning, shopping, and prep.
2. You will give families more time together without worrying about one more thing they need to do.
There is no greater reward than knowing you have returned precious moments to a family affected by the devastating disease of cancer.
Let's make this our best fundraising year yet!
With gratitude,
Kayleigh

“This spring, I received a stem cell transplant to try to end my leukemia for good. It ran me into the ground. Once I started getting meals through the Village Project, it was incredible to rely on healthy, delicious meals each week. No one had to make, plan, shop, or even order them. The delivery angel just magically showed up. I felt nourished and cared for.In addition to the cooks, gardeners, fundraisers, delivery angels, and whomever else I’m forgetting, I want to shout out to the volunteers making the cards. They were creative, beautiful, uplifting and frankly adorable. There is one that I can’t part with. It's a drawing of a vase of flowers and says, “Keep Going.” After almost three years, this was indeed a gift. It acknowledged everything I’ve been through.
Thank you for this tremendous help. I feel so lucky to live in such a caring community.”
